A tranquil clinical office corner designed for reflective practice, featuring a single, high-backed armchair upholstered in textured dove-grey fabric, angled slightly toward a small round side table. On the table rests a tidy stack of supervision worksheets, a slim tablet displaying a supervision framework, and a simple ceramic cup of herbal tea. The space is framed by a tall bookshelf with neatly arranged psychology texts and a single leafy plant in a white pot. Soft, warm-toned ceiling lighting combines with faint evening light from a nearby window, creating gentle highlights and diffused shadows. Photographed at eye level with the chair on the rule of thirds, the composition in realistic style suggests quiet focus, containment, and professional care.

Supervision Sanctuary

Supervision is focused on you professional development. Some supervision models separate the practitioner from the person. We do not hold to this limiting separation, especially when your personal beliefs are influencing your counselling. Anything that impacts upon your practice is considered grist for the mill, and may be relevant to explore. Supervision is not a superficial box ticking exercise but a deep dive into practice.

A common zeitgeist is that you cannot go deeper with clients than you are yourself. Therefore, supervision seeks to assist you to plumb depths often previously not contemplated, while guiding you to evolve into the most insightful and considered therapist you can be. As practitioners we are in a constant state of improvement, or we stop growing, and therapists who don’t grow risk becoming a poor shadow of their potential selves. The goal we have for you is to ensure you are constantly improving.

We focus on deep reflective supervision not only meeting CPD requirements.

A neatly arranged consultation workspace featuring an open, hardcover supervision journal with crisp cream pages, a fine-point navy pen resting diagonally across handwritten reflective notes, and a closed laptop with a subtle metallic finish. Everything sits on a pale oak desk with a smooth grain, positioned near a large frosted-glass window. Soft, diffused daylight gently illuminates the scene, creating calm, even lighting with minimal shadows. In the softly blurred background, organized shelves hold neutral-toned binders labeled for supervision, ethics, and practice. Captured at eye level with a shallow depth of field, the photographic realism emphasizes professionalism, clarity, and reflective practice in a clean, modern clinical setting.
